Ride With Me Tea Light Holder |
|
T ea Light Holder using Ride WIth me and Merry Moose
Cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock 9" x 2 1/8".
Score on 9" side at 1", 4 1/2" and 8"
Using the tree stamps from Merry Moose and Shaded Spruce Ink, randomly stamp trees just above the 1" score line and below the 4 1/2' score line. Stamp off on some of the trees so you have a variation of colors.
Using the 1 1/4" Circle Punch, punch a hole in the center of the panel where you just stamped the trees, making sure you leave enough room so that when you add the truck, you don't cover the entire circle. You'll want to leave enough of it exposed so that you can see the tealight when it's turned on.
Cut a piece of Vellum 2" x 2 1/4" and place that behind the circle you just punch, attaching it with double-sided tape.
NOTE # 1: the sample shown has a sheet of clear acetate behind the circle, not vellum).
Note #2: I stamped a few more trees on the panel that shows behind the circle, I just thought it looked nice being able to see more trees through the circle cut out. It's up to you if you want to do the same.
Fold and burnish all score lines. Stamp the Christmas Cheer stamp from Itty Bitty Christmas using Black Memento Ink in the top left corner of the front panel.
Using double-sided tape, attach the bottom pieces together to make the base, being sure to leave enough room to place the tea light inside the folded tent.
Attach the truck image using double-sided tape.
Place the tea light inside.
