Quickly, Awesomely Artistic |
|
I made this card a while back for a friend and remembered to snap a quick picture of it, but I never got around to posting it.

I will admit that both of the stamp sets I used here are ones I didn't care for when I first saw them. It took me a whole year to warm up to Awesomely Artistic and several months to decide I wanted Rose Wonder. But I'm a total convert.
This card is so easy to make. I stamped the big flower bunch from Awesomely Artistic in Wild Wasabi ink four times, making sure to overlap the edge of the card. I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sugarplum. Then I colored in just the two bunches of flowers in the corner with Sweet Sugarplum and Blushing Bride markers. I added some pearls, and I was done.
This is a great design to have on hand for a quick sympathy card. You can whip up 10 or 20 in just a few minutes and have a stash ready. I know that I never feel inspired when I learn I need a sympathy card. So these are good to keep around.
You can also use the "Wedding Wishes" sentiment from Rose Wonder for a quick wedding card. These two stamp sets pair so nicely together.
I'll be back tomorrow with more. See you then!
