Perennial Essence Class - Scrapbook Page |
|
I nspired by the Annual Catalogue 2019/20, this Scrapbook Page is made using products from the Perennial Essence Suite.
Cut a strip from the Very Vanilla 12x12 Cardstock measuring 12"x6.5" and one from the Whisper White 12x12 Cardstock measuring 12"x6".
With the short edge of the Vanilla card at the top, apply adhesive down the far right hand edge from top to bottom, making sure that you come in no further than 1/2".
Attach the White card strip on top of the Vanilla card to make a full 12"x12" sheet.
Using the large flower outline stamp and Rich Razzleberry ink, randomly stamp the image across the White side of the page, using a Sticky Note mask where required.
Repeat the random stamping with the small filled in flower stamp and Flirty Flamingo ink stamping some full strength ink and some 2nd generation (ie stamp first on a piece of scrap then, without re-inking, stamp on your project). Repeat with the large leaves outline stamp and Old Olive ink then add the flower centres using Crushed Curry ink for the Rich Razzleberry flower and So Saffron for the Flirty Flamingo ones.
To make the background design look more natural, allow some of the images to overlap the edges of the page, and also across slightly onto the Vanilla side of the page as most of that will be covered with DSP anyway.
Cut a strip of Designer Series Paper to measure 11.5" x 5.75" and attach it to the left hand side of your page, leaving an even border around the left hand, top and bottom edges.
Cut a piece of Petal Pink Vellum to measure 7" x 6" then, with the face side up, measure 3" down the right hand long side and mark with a pencil. Either using a trimmer or a craft knife and steel ruler, cut diagonally from the top left corner to the pencil mark.
Apply Tear & Tape around the three straight sides close to the edges and attach to the main page leaving an even border of vellum around the DSP.
Cut two strips of Whisper White card measuring 4.25" x 2". Use the Delightful Tag Topper Punch to cut one short end of each strip.
Cut two pieces of DSP measuring 3" x 1.75" and attach one to each tag as shown. Attach a small photograph to each tag leaving a border of DSP.
Fold a length of Whisper White Bakers Twine to measure 4", fold in half and thread the folded end through the hole in a tag, then thread the ends through the loop and pull tight. Repeat with the other tag.
Slide the two tags into the vellum pocket.
Cut a piece of DSP measuring 4.5" x 2.5" then, using the Triple Banner Punch, cut one short end.
Cut a piece of Whisper White card measuring 2.75" x 1.75". Using the Mini Library Clip layer the white card piece onto the DSP and clip them both to the bottom left of the main page as shown.
Take a piece of Petal Pink Vellum and, using the Craft Stampin' Pad, stamp 2 flower sections, cover them with Clear Embossing Powder and heat the powder until it melts, being careful as it is easy to scorch the vellum if the heat is held in one place too long.
Repeat so you have six embossed images in total.
Use the Perennial Flower Punch to punch out your embossed images. Layer one image on top of another to form a flower as shown. Repeat so you have three flowers. Using a bone folder or your fingers, curl the petals of each flower under to give some more dimension.
Use the Leaf Punch to punch out 4 sets of leaves in the green vellum.
Arrange the flowers and leaves in the bottom right hand corner of your page as shown then attach them with adhesive, adding a Floral Centre to the middle flower.
Using Flirty Flamingo ink, stamp another two Flower sections onto Petal Pink cardstock and punch them out using the Perennial Flower Punch. Layer them to form a flower and attach a Floral Centre as shown. Punch another sprig of leaves from the green vellum using the Leaf Punch.
Attach the leaves and cardstock flower to the edge of the DSP tag as shown.
Using Rich Razzleberry Ink and Whisper White Cardstock, stamp the 'All Days Are Beautiful' sentiment then punch it out using the Story Label Punch. Using a Stampin' Sponge or Sponge Dauber ink around the edges of the punched label and attach with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown.
Cut a piece of Petal Pink card measuring 6.25" x 4.25" and attach it to the main page with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown. You can then attach your main 6" x 4" photo to this.
Slide your page into the Page Protector.
Your Scrapbook Page is now complete - sit back and admire your handiwork.
