Perennial Essence Class - 'Blissful Future' Card |
|
A quick card with hand stamped background using products from the Perennial Essence Suite.
|
|
Take a piece of Petal Pink Cardstock measuring 8" x 6" and score along the long edge at 4" to form a 6" x 4" Card Base. Fold the scoreline and burnish using a Bone Folder.
Using the small flower from the Floral Essence Stamp Set and Blushing Bride Ink, randomly stamp the image over the front of your card base, rotating the stamp as well as stamping over the edges of the card, remembering to leave room to stamp your leaves. Add in the flower centres using Crushed Curry Ink.
Randomly stamp the large outline leaves using Mossy Meadow Ink.
Using a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, stamp the 'Wishing you a blissful future' sentiment using the Old Olive Ink.
Using the size #5 Stitched Nested Labels Die, cut around the sentiment (I number my dies from smallest to largest - ie smallest is #1 and largest #8).
Take a piece of Old Olive Vellum and cut a label using the size #6 Stitched Nested Labels Die.
Attach the Vellum label to the front of your card towards the right hand edge as shown, with an even border top and bottom.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, attach the sentiment label slightly left of centre and approx 1/2" from the bottom edge as shown in the photograph.
Take a length of Organdy Striped Ribbon measuring 8" and make a bow. Attach this to the top right corner of the sentiment label with a couple of Mini Glue Dots.
Open the card and use sticky notes to cover the upper portion of the opened card, protecting it from being stamped onto.
Using the small flower stamp and Blushing Bride Ink, stamp randomly around the edge of the card, rotating the stamp and leaving space for the leaves.
Stamp the outline leaves in Old Olive Ink, and the flower centres in Crushed Curry Ink (don't forget them like I did for the photos - doh!)
Your card is now finished - sit back and admire your handiwork!
