Pansy Patch Layered Thanks |
P retty thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Polished Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of soft green gingham check design from Pansy Petals 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2 pieces each 2-3/8" x 2-7/8" from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 2 pieces each of 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" of multicolored small pansies, flowers, stems, and leaves on pale green background design from Pansy Petals 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the pansies are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 2-1/4" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
Wrap one end of the spool of white twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack around your fingers about 3 times. Cut the twine loose from the spool. Repeat one more time so you have two long pieces of white twine.
Lay the twine pieces on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Run the edge of the brush tip of the Dark Polished Pink Stampin' Blends across the twine pieces to color them pink. Rotate the twine a little as you color so you color all sides of the twine. Repeat until you have the color saturation you want. Set the twine pieces aside to let them dry a bit.
Adhere the piece of soft green gingham check Pansy Petals Designer Paper to the front of the Polished Pink card.
Adhere the small rectangles Pansy Petals Designer Paper to the small Soft Succulent rectangles.
Recoil the twine pieces around your fingers and then lay the coiled twine pieces on the card front in the upper right and lower left corners.
Put adhesive on the back of one of the matted small rectangles of designer paper. Adhere it to the card front in the upper left corner so it is about 3/8" from the top and left side of the card. Let it overlap the two coils of twine a bit to help hold them in place.
Put adhesive on the back of the other matted small rectangle of designer paper. Adhere it to the card front in the lower right corner so it is about 3/8" from the bottom and right side of the card. Let it overlap the two coils of twine a bit to help hold them in place. It will also overlap the lower right corner of the first matted small rectangle of designer paper.
As you are ready to stamp using the Pansy Patch Set, place the cardstock or specialty paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Thank You" or "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Pansy Patch Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the 2-1/2" x 3" vertical white strip in the center. Leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Label Me Fancy Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Mount the large, more solid pansy flower outside edge image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it on one end of the 2-1/4" x 4" white rectangle.
Mount the large, more detailed pansy flower outside edge image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp the image over the top of the image already stamped on the white rectangle.
Mount the larger, more solid pansy flower interior image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp the image in the center of the previously stamped pansy image on the white rectangle.
Mount the medium-sized, solid pansy flower interior image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp the image in the center of the previously stamped pansy image on the white rectangle.
Mount the small, more solid pansy flower image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp once onto Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp the image on the other end of the white rectangle, leave room between the flower images so you can cut them out with dies in a later step.
Mount the small, more detailed pansy flower image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp the image over the top of the small pansy image already stamped on the white rectangle.
Pick out the matching, open, small and large pansy flower dies from the Pansy Dies. Put them on top of the stamped pansies on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the pansies are centered in the dies. Run through the machine.
WITHOUT AHDERING, lay the sentiment punch out and the two pansy flower cut outs on the front of the card to figure out spacing and placement as shown.
One at a time, adhere the sentiment punch out in place using Stampin' Seal and the pansy flower cut outs in place using Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large and one small Mint Macaron gems from the sheet of Genial Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the pansy flower cut outs over the white dots in the centers.
