Cardstock Sizes:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" & 4" x 5 1/4" Poppy Parade
4 1/4" x 1 3/4" Peaceful Poppies DSP
(2) 2 3/4" x 4" Old Olive
2 /18" x 3 3/4" Whisper White
Score the 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Poppy Parade at 4 1/4" and burnish your score line with your bone folder.
Using the Poppy Parade Ink, stamp the poppy image along the bottom edge of the 4" x 5 1/4" Pool Party card stock with the flowers facing down, then stamp the poppy about 3" from the bottom edge with the flowers facing up. The DSP will be glued down between the stamped poppies.
Using the Shimmery Crystal Effects, "color" all the poppies on the 4" x 5 1/4" Poppy Parade card stock and let dry.
Stamp the poppy image in StazOn Black Ink on to the 2 /18" x 3 3/4" Whisper White cardstock. Then color the image using Poppy Parade and Old Olive Stampin Blends. After you finish coloring the poppy, use the Shimmery Crystal Effects to "color" just the flower part of the poppies and let dry.
Now stamp the sentiment in Poppy Parade Ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White, then stamp the poppy cluster image in Old Olive making sure you stamp off some ink once before stamping onto the cardstock and punch out using the Classic Label Punch adhere to the cardbase using dimensionals. To make your punched label smaller, you need to punch out your sentiment, making sure the sentiment is spaced where you want it on the left or right side, now insert your punched piece back into the punch keeping the edges straight while holding onto the opposite edge you want to make shorter and punch.
Making sure the Chrystal Effects is dry on your card base, glue down the 4 1/4" x 1 3/4" Peaceful Poppies DSP to the cardbase between the stamped poppy images.
Wrap the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the 4" x 5 1/4" Poppy Parade card stock and tie a bow on the right side centering the ribbon over the DSP strip. using dimensionals, adhere this layer to the cardbase.
Die-cut one of the 2 3/4" x 4" Old Olive using the 2nd largest die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Then you will cut the second piece of 2 3/4" x 4" Old Olive using the same die but adding the next size down as well to make the frame. To do this, lay the largest die onto the cardstock, then place the smaller die inside the largest die making sure the die is flat, then run through the die machine and you will have an outer frame and an extra center piece to use on another project.
Glue down the poppy image to the Old Olive die-cut, then put dimensionals (you will have to cut them in half for them to fit) on the backside of the Old Olive frame and adhere over the stamped poppy image, making sure the sides of the frame line up. Adhere this over the center of the DSP on the left side of the card using dimensionals.
