Moose Window Merry Christmoose Card from The Crafty Muse |
|
W indow card using Stitched Nested Labels, Merry Moose, Beautiful Boughs and Rooted in Nature.
Cut Crumb Cake 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Cute Very Vanilla 5" x 8" and score at 4. ** 5 1/4" x 8 1/4" score at 4 1/8" will work also if you like a more narrow border inside.
From Stitched Nested Labels, select the 2 5/8" wide and the 2" wide dies.
Center the larger die on the Crumb Cake card front and cut. Center the smaller 2" wide die on the Very Vanilla "card front" and cut. To get the Stitched Nested Labels to be straight. Use a template of the space that should be from the die to the edge of the card. Great when making a bunch of the same card.
Stamp the Moose outline from Merry Moose with Soft Suede on Soft Suede Cardstock. Punch out. Note when lining up the punch I suggest aligning the hoofs first then adjust to match the top of the moose.
Using the two smaller dies from the Beautiful Boughs Dies, cut out Mossy Meadow Cardstock.
With Mossy Meadow ink, on Mossy Meadow cardstock stamp the small trees from Rooted in Nature, cut out with dies, then brush with Wink of Stella.
Using Mossy Meadow ink, stamp boughs on corners of the Very Vanilla around the cut out.
Using Mossy Meadow ink stamp the larger bough inside the Very Vanilla on bottom left corner. With Very Vanilla closed, stamp desired sentiment through the cutout area, near the top of the label.
Attach just the BACK of the Very Vanilla to the inside of the Crumb Cake. TAKE CARE to line up the Nested Labels openings.
Attach boughs to outside of the card overlapping the cut out area and over the boughs stamped on the Very Vanilla.
Attach trees by layering smaller one behind the two tree piece and then on Very Vanilla near bottom right of the cut out. NOTE, this will cover the space where you will be able to sign the card.
Holding the card mostly closed, attach the moose so he is peeking out from behind the bough but does not cover the sentiment. I used multiple glue dots on his rump.
