Monthly Team Challenge using Falling For Leaves |
|
E ach month our direct team lead sends us a few elements and we design a card with it. This month our team members received an image from the Falling For Leaves stamp set a die cut from the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies and a copper foil sheet was used with the Tin Tile Embossing folder. Here is what I came up with. I really liked how it turned out.

Supplies:
Card base Basic Black-5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Mat layer Mango Melody& Crumb Cake- 5 1/4 x 4
Scrap pieces of Copper foil, Champagne foil and Copper glimmer paper from Joyous Noel.
Linen thread
Whisper White 5 x 5 for leaves
I forgot what color my leaves are on the inside.
Blend Markers- Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Mango Melody
Adhesive of choice
Dimensionals
Tailored Tag Punch
Tin Tile Embossing Folder
Adhere the Mango Melody mat layer to the card stock. Run the copper foil through the big shot with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder. Now cut it out with the Tailored Tag Punch. Do the same for the Champagne Foil and Copper glimmer paper. Adhere these to the card front (see picture.)
Stamp the leaves in Tuxedo Black on whisper white and cut out with matching die and die cut the other leaf out also. Adhere the die cut leaf to the card front. The other leaf color in with the blends markers. Inside- Pumpkin Pie light, center in Pumpkin Pie dark, still using the dark highlight the black areas in the leaf center. Scalloped edge in Mango Melody light and the stripes in the Mango Melody dark. The corner in Cajun Craze dark and the stem in Cajun Craze light. Pop up with dimensionals. Make a bow from linen thread and adhere with glue dot.
Cut a piece of the Tin Tile copper foil and lay the strip down the side of the crumb cake. Now add the leaves from the Seasonal dies. Adhere this mat layer to inside of card.
