Meerkats |
|
A gang of Meerkats in a card layout inspired by Jenn of The Artsy Fartsy Gallery.
|
Card Stock:
*Soft Suede for card base - 8.5” X 5.5” scored and folded at 4.25”
*Gold Foil: 4 1/8” X 5 3/8”; you will need to punch out 3 circles for the front, using layering circle dies, I count a large circle, and two smaller scallops out of the middle of the gold foil sheet. Same technique as the picture attached, however that card was a glitter white.
*Designer Series Paper from Mosaic Mood cut at 4” x 3.5”; a second pattern that coordinates at 4” X 2”; a scrap of DSP with a very subtle pattern to stamp on.
Whisper White for inside - 4 1/8” X 5 3/8”
Stamp:
* Stamp Meerkats from the Gang’s All Meer onto a piece of designer series paper using Early Espresso Ink.
* Using Mountain Air stamp a section of mountain onto scrap Whisper White card stock using Early Espresso Ink; stamp a piece of moon using So Saffron ink.
* Stamp a sentiment onto Whisper White card stock using Early Espresso ink.
* On the inside piece stamp the standing Meerkat, the Meerkat poking his head up from the ground and the little lizard (I used Pear Pizzazz ink for this one.)
Put the card together:
* Adhere the inside piece to your card base.
* Adhere the two pieces of Mosaic Mood card stock onto the Gold Foil.
* Wrap a piece of ribbon at the seam of the two DSP pieces wrapping it around the DSP/Gold Foil layer.
* Using the large scallop die cut the Meerkats out and layer onto the large gold circle.
* Cut mountain scene and sentiment using circles to layer onto the scallops you’ve cut out of the Gold Foil Sheet.
* Arrange on card front, decide which you want to raise using Stampin’ Dimensionals and what you want flat.
