Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Melon Mambo Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-1/2" x 5-3/4" from Merry Merlot Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Whisper White Cardstock at least 1-1/4" wide
Lightly spritz the Merry Merlot rectangle with water and insert into the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine. Set aside to dry.
Mount the flat-line bottom row of flowers image from the Meant To Be Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Merry Merlot Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the Melon Mambo card front so the flat line is on the top and the right edge is about 5/8" in and the bottom edge is about 1/8" in.
Mount the "Just for You" sentiment from the Meant To Be Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle.
Pick out the large, open, filigree-edged framelit from the Stitched Labels Framelits. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Unlock the 1” Circle Punch. Slide the white scrap into the punch and punch.
One at a time, peel up a petal from the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape. Use the paper-piercing tip on the Take Your Pick if that helps. Adhere 4 petals to the circle punch out so the ends of the petals hang over the edge of the circle a bit and the petals form a cross. Then, adhere 4 more petals so they overlap the previous petals a bit and form another cross.
If the Merry Merlot rectangle is dry, proceed with the next step. Speed up drying if needed with the Heat Tool.
Use strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the Merry Merlot rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered and covers the top of the previously stamped row of flowers image. Trim off excess cardstock on the sides using Paper Snips.
Tip: I deliberately cut the cardstock longer/wider than needed because it does shrink a little when dry embossed with such a detailed embossing folder. It's easy to trim off excess after adhering.
Cut a 5-1/2" piece of Whisper White 5/8" Flax Ribbon so both ends are sharply angled.
Lay the piece of ribbon at an angle across the card front so the left edge almost touches the lower left side of the Merry Merlot strip and the right edge almost touches the upper right side of the Merry Merlot strip. Adhere in place with a vertical piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strip. Add SNAIL Adhesive to the back of the sentiment label cut out. Adhere the sentiment label cut out so it overlaps the ribbon and is centered top to bottom on the Merry Merlot strip and about 1/2" from the left edge.
Adhere the washi tape flower to the card front using the washi tape and SNAIL on the circle backing so the flower overlaps the lower right side of the sentiment label cut out.
Peel the protective backing off the back of a Perennial Essence Floral Center and adhere it to the center of the washi tape flower.
Use the tacky putty tip of the Take Your Pick to pick up 3 different sized Purple Posy sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment. Adhere them to the card front as shown using tiny dots of Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
