Lovely As A Tree Ink Blending |
|
A beautifully vibrant, colourful scene using one of my most favourite stamp sets. Lovely As A Tree.

|
Start by sponging Soft Sky to the top. Stampin' Up! sponges are perfect for ink blending with their lovely softly rounded edges. I usually cut mine in to 4 pieces. It makes them great value for money.
Follow with So Saffron. This will blend to create a little green shading.
Add some Tangerine Tango. Keeping it heaviest/darkest where the base of the trees would be.
Follow this with Rich Razzleberry right down to the bottom. You will find where the Rich Razzleberry and the Tangerine Tango blend it will create a beautiful dark shade behind the treeline.
Finish with Basic Black to the very bottom, and around the outer edges if you wish.
Ink up your Lovely As a Tree stamp with Basic Black. Make sure it is really nice and inky before you stamp down. You want to make sure that the black trees come out nice and clear.
And that's basically it done. Just mount it up however you wish. I simply mounted mine on Thick Whisper White cardstock. (oh and I did a little heat embossing too)
