Pick out the large, open, 5-lobed leaf die from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the In Good Taste Designer Paper rectangle so it is centered side to side with the stem pointing down and the top of the die being about 1/2" from the top. Run through the tool.
Note: This die will cut out a leaf image and leave a stitched image of the leaf on the rectangle as well.
You are using the large, designer paper rectangle with the stitched leaf image cut into it on this project Keep the cut out leaf for use on another project.
Keep the die out for use on a later step.
Adhere the designer paper rectangle with the stitched leaf image cut into it to the Cajun Craze rectangle.
Adhere the Cajun Craze rectangle to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Love Of Leaves Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large, 5-lobed leaf image from the Love Of Leaves Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. BEFORE STAMPING, use the brush tip of the Cajun Craze Marker to randomly thump (tap) color all over the inked up stamp. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamp it in the center of the Very Vanilla square.
Note: If you are making multiples of this card, be sure to clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub and/or Simply Shammy between each use.
Place the large, open, 5-lobed leaf die from the Stitched Leaves Dies on top of the stamped leaf image so it is centered over the image. Pick out the matching, solid, 5-lobed leaf die from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the stamped leaf image so it is inside the open die. Run through the tool.
Lightly bend up the lobes of the leaf die cut out on the right and left sides.
Put a thin line of adhesive down the lower center of the leaf cut out. Adhere the leaf cut out inside the leaf cut out on the card front.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the Very Vanilla strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notched top) as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the "hello" or "thank you" sentiment from the Love Of Leaves Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it on the punched banner so it is centered top to bottom and about 1/4" from the notched end with the notch on the right side.
Use Paper Snips to trim off excess cardstock on the left side of the stamped sentiment banner so there is only about 1/4" of empty cardstock between the sentiment and the left edge.
Adhere the sentiment banner to the card front so it is just below the leaf cut out on the right side and the left edge of the sentiment banner is even with the stem of the leaf cut out.
Pick out one of the smaller, open, serrated leaf dies from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the gold Brushed Metallic Cardstock rectangle so the shiny gold side is facing up. Pick out one of the matching, open, serrated leaf dies from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the metallic cardstock so it is inside the open die. Run through the tool.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the gold metallic leaf cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the lower left side of the stamped leaf cut out a bit and the stem is pointing down to the lower right.
Cut a 6" piece of the vanilla 1/2" ribbon and an 8" piece of the gold 1/16" trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.
Fold the vanilla 1/2" ribbon in half. Fold the gold 1/16" trim in half. Tie the folded gold trim around the top of the folded vanilla ribbon about 1/2" below the fold in the using a knot. Make sure the looped end of the trim sticks up about 1-1/2" above the knot. Trim the ends of the ribbon at angles using Paper Snips. Trim the loose ends of the gold trim using Paper Snips. Fray the loose ends of the golf trim.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon/trim piece to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the left end of the sentiment banner punch out and the loops at the top of the ribbon and gold trim overlap the leaves.
