Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Glimmer Paper pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Night of Navy Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of blue, purple, and white mottled design from See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scraps of Sparkle Glimmer Paper
Shake the bottle of Frost White Shimmer Paint while the lid is on tight. Remove the lid and place it on some Grid Paper on your work surface open end up. Poke a Sponge Dauber down into the lid to pick up some of the shimmer paint. Rub the inky Sponge Dauber all over the white rectangle. Get more shimmer paint on the dauber as needed. Put the lid back on the bottle and shake again if necessary. Set aside to let it dry.
Rub the Embossing Buddy all over the See A Silhouette Designer Paper.
Mount the heart constellation image from the Little Twinkle Set on Block D. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it at a slight angle in the upper right corner of the designer paper.
Mount the small grouping of stars image from the Little Twinkle Set on Block A. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it in the upper left corner, center right edge, and bottom edge just right of center of the designer paper. Let the images on the right and bottom edges go off the paper a bit. Remember to re-ink the stamp with VersaMark Ink each time.
Lay the stamped designer paper piece on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Shimmer White Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers all the stamped images. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Tip: I use a fine-tip paintbrush to knock off any excess powder that is stuck anywhere I don't want it.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (shiny and more opaque white).
Tip: Use a clothespin to hold the designer paper while using the Heat Tool to avoid burning your fingers.
Adhere the stamped and heat embossed piece of designer paper to the Rich Razzleberry rectangle and then to the front of the Night of Navy card.
Rub the Embossing Buddy all over the shimmer painted white rectangle.
Mount the "love you more than all the stars" sentiment from the Little Twinkle Set on Block D. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad, then ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad BEFORE stamping it. Stamp it in the center of the shimmer painted white rectangle.
Tip: By inking with VersaMark and then a color ink, you can stamp and then emboss in any color you want!
Tip: If you want the heat embossed sentiment to be a little darker, ink up the stamp with VersaMark and then with Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad instead of Rich Razzleberry.
Lay the stamped white rectangle on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Shimmer White Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers all the stamped sentiment. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Tip: I use a fine-tip paintbrush to knock off any excess powder that is stuck anywhere I don't want it.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (shiny and light purple).
Tip: Use a clothespin to hold the designer paper while using the Heat Tool to avoid burning your fingers.
Pick out the smooth oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies that cuts out a smooth oval that is 1-7/8" wide. Put it on top of the stamped, heat embossed sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Pick out the scalloped oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies that cuts out a scalloped oval that is 2" wide. Put it on top of the Blackberry Bliss rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool.
Adhere the sentiment oval cut out to the center of the scalloped Blackberry Bliss oval cut out.
Place the matted sentiment oval cut out upside down on your work area. Put some SNAIL Adhesive all over the back of the oval.
Loop one end of the Silver Metallic Thread around your fingers a few times. Cu the thread loose from the spool. Press the loops of thread to the adhesive on the back of the sentiment oval cut out so the thread sticks out to the upper right side (this will be the upper left side when the sentiment oval cut out is correct side up).
Adhere the sentiment oval cut out with metallic thread attached to the front of the card on the lower left side so it just overlaps the bottom of the heat embossed heart constellation.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Lay the piece of ribbon on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Use the brush tip of the Blackberry Bliss Dark Stampin' Blends to color all over the ribbon until you get the color you want. Set aside to dry.
Tip: You can use any color of Stampin' Blends on lighter colored ribbons to make them any color you want.
Unlock the Twinkle Builder Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the scrap of Sparkle Glimmer Paper into the punch so you will punch out the grouping of three different sized stars on the right side. Punch. Repeat until you have 6 stars punched out.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the star punch outs randomly to the card front.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot at a slight angle to the card front so it overlaps the end of the "s" in the word "stars" on the right side of the sentiment oval.
