Memorable Mosaic Roses |
|
I decided to use one of my new favourite techniques, the Scrappy Strip Technique, as a background for this card highlighting the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Memorable Mosaic Stamp Set!
|
Using the Paper Trimmer, start with 4-1/4" x 1-1/4" strips of Mosaic Mood DSP and cut them at various angles to create varying sizes of angled strips. Glue these onto a piece of 5" x 3-3/4" Soft Suede cardstock, overlapping the edges of the cardstock. .
Turn the layer over and trim the excess DSP to the edge of the cardstock. Adhere the piece to another piece of Soft Suede cardstock measuring 5-1/8" x 3-7/8". Adhere this to a Terracotta Tile card base measuring 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4".
Roughly cut out the roses/leaves from the Mosaic Mood DSP and glue it to a piece of Very Vanilla Thick cardstock. Fussy cut the roses/leaves through both layers. Cut a border from the Mosaic Mood DSP measuring 5" x 1-1/16" and adhere it to a Very Vanilla Thick cardstock piece of the same size. Glue the flowers onto the border strip and mount it on the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Stamp the Thank You sentiment from the Memorable Mosaic Stamp Set in Terracotta Tile ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock. Punch it out with the Classic Label Punch and adhere it to the card as shown using Stampin' Dimensionals.
