Island Vibes Potted Plant Lattice |
H andmade card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Evening Evergreen Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
- 2" x 3-3/4" of green leaves and tiny white and pink flowers design from Daffodil Afternoon 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stems are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 1-5/8" x 2-7/8" from Evening Evergreen Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 4" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
Insert the Mint Macaron rectangle into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Mint Macaron rectangle to the front of the Evening Evergreen card.
Adhere the piece of Daffodil Afternoon Designer Paper to the left side of the card front so about 1/8" of Mint Macaron shows on the top, left, and bottom edges.
Use Paper Snips to cut a Paper Lattice so you have a piece that is 1-1/2" wide by 3-1/4" long.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the piece of cut Paper Lattice to the front of the card horizontally so the right edge is about 1/4" from the right edge of the card and the bottom edge is about 1" from the bottom of the card.
Mount the potted plant image from the Island Vibes Set on Block C. Use the side of the brush tip of the Mint Macaron Marker to ink up the pot and the leaves of the plant. Use the side of the brush tip of the Cinnamon Cider Marker to ink up the stems of the plant. Use the side of the brush tip of the Evening Evergreen Marker to add some random dark streaks to the leaves. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamp the image in the center of the vertical white rectangle.
Use the fine tip of the Cinnamon Cider Marker to color over the stem in the center so it appears to be in front of the leaves and to fill in any other areas as needed. Use the Mint Macaron Marker to fill in any of the leaves as needed.
Adhere the potted plant rectangle to the center of the Evening Evergreen rectangle then adhere it to the front of the card so it is evenly spaced over the right side of the designer paper and covers the left end of the Paper Lattice piece.
Mount the large Many Messages stamp on Block F. Ink up the right portion of the stamp near the center with the "sending a smile your way" and "just wanted to say..." sentiments using the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiments in the center of the horizontal Cinnamon Cider rectangle.
Put the Messages Die on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the 2 skinny, short labels on the center left side of the die are centered over the sentiments. Run through the machine.
Choose whichever cut out sentiment you want to use. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered across the bottom of the potted plant image as soon.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 small Cinnamon Cider gems from a sheet of 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small Just Jade gem from a sheet of 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the empty diamond in the center line of the Paper Lattice piece as shown between the two Cinnamon Cider gems.
