Cardstock Sizes:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Basic Black
4" x 5 1/4" DSP (cardbase layer)
1" x 4" Gold Foil (cardbase layer)
2" x 2 1/4" Gold Foil (honeycomb die)
2 1/4" x 2 3/4" DSP (tag die-cut)
1 3/4" x 3" Whisper White (sentiment/die-cut)
1 1/2" x 2 1/4" (bee)
Score the 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Basic Black cardstock at 4 1/4" and burnish your scoreline.
Glue down the 4" x 5 1/4" DSP to the cardbase. Now glue down the 1" x 4" Gold Foil strip about 1 3/8" from the bottom edge of the DSP.
Stamp the sentiment & large bee in Tuxedo Black Ink.
Die-cut the bee, then the honeycomb with the 2" x 2 1/4" Gold Foil piece using the Detailed Bees Dies. Now using the second to the smallest scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly, die-cut the sentiment, making sure it is centered in the die before you cut it (use a piece of washi tape to hold die in place if needed). The last piece to die-cut is the 2 1/4" x 2 3/4" black DSP layer for the sentiment using the second to the largest ornate shaped die also from Stitched So Sweetly.
Dip the tip of the Blender Pen into the Champagne Shimmer Mist and paint the scalloped edge of the sentiment die-cut and the white stripe of the bee.
I popped up the sentiment onto the black DSP die-cut layer, then adhere these to the Gold Foil strip, centering it about 1/4" from the left edge of the DSP layer.
To glue down the honeycomb, I put very small drops of liquid glue onto the back (if you are not good with the glue, you can put some glue onto a silicone mat and dip a toothpick in the glue to just get a small drop) and adhere.
The last thing to add is the bee. I added a little liquid glue to his bum and adhered him to the right edge of the sentiment layer.
