Harvest Hellos Green Apple Thanks |
F un and easy thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 3/4" x 3" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 1" x 2-3/4" from Real Red Cardstock
- 1" square from Real Red Cardstock
Mount the line of apple seeds image from the Harvest Hellos Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in a line across the bottom of the vanilla rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges.
Use the Soft Suede Marker to color in the seeds.
Adhere the stamped vanilla rectangle to the front of the Granny Apple Green card.
Cut a 10" piece of Real Red 1" Ruched Ribbon with sharp angles on the ends.
Fold the ribbon in half. Lay it on top of the card front so the folded end almost touches the top of the card and it is about 7/8" from the left side. Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the folded ribbon about 1-1/2" from the top to hold it in place. Leave the protective backing in place for now.
Mount the large, outline apple image from the Harvest Hellos Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on end of the Granny Apple Green strip.
Unlock the Apple Builder Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped apple image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked. Keep both pieces of cardstock!
Mount the stem image from the Harvest Hellos Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the thin vertical strip of Soft Suede Cardstock so the fatter end of the stem is at the top.
Hold the unlocked Apple Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped stem image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the stem to the back of the apple punch out so the stem is poking out from the top center of the apple.
Add additional Tear & Tape Adhesive to the back of the apple punch out. Remove the protective backings from all Tear & Tape pieces and adhere the apple punch out with stem attached to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon and covers the strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive holding the ribbon in place. The top of the apple (not the stem) should be about 1-1/4" from the top of the card.
Mount the small, smooth-edged leaf image from the Harvest Hellos Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the strip of Granny Apple Green Cardstock.
Hold the unlocked Apple Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped leaf image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the leaf punch out to the front of the card so it is to the left side of the stem (it will be on top of the ribbon).
Pick out the "thanks" die from the Well Written Dies. Put it on top of the long Real Red rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the "thanks" cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom right side of the apple.
Pick out the butterfly die from the Well Written Dies. Put it on top of the Real Red square on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the butterfly cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle in the upper right corner.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up a Red Rhinestone Basic Jewel from the sheet being sure to get the adhesive as well. Adhere it to the center of the butterfly cut out.
