Gift Box in a Card |

A
fun fold card with a difference. A little Gift Box in a card. You can place small chocolates in the box. This card is not suitable to mail.
A5 card base 14.9cm x 21cm scored at 10.5cm.
Place folded edge at top of paper trimmer and measure 1” in from right hand side. Cut down 2” from folded edge.
Flip card over and place folded edge at the top of paper trimmer at 3” mark and cut down 2”.
Place card base with the folded edge on the left at the 2” mark on paper trimmer and cut between the two cut lines. A 2” square of card stock will then be removed from the card base.
Box lid 3”x3” card stock
Score just shy of 1/2” on all 4 sides.
Snip 2 tabs to score line on either side.
Snip a piece off each of the 4 tabs to make it less bulky to fold.
Apply adhesive to all 4 tabs and fold in to create lid of box.
Box base 6”x6” designer series paper.
Score at 2” on all 4 sides. Be careful not to press too hard and cut the paper when scoring.
Snip 2 tabs to the score line on either side.
Trim off a little on all 4 tabs to make them less bulky when folding.
Add adhesive on all 4 tabs on the score line and outer edge to the side of the paper you want to show on the outside of your box.
Fold tabs in making sure the tabs line up exactly with the score line.
To decorate the front of the card
5.4cm x 14.9cm card stock
4.9cm x 14.9cm designer series paper
Add any additional cut outs or embellishments you like.
Add a sentiment as well.
