GIFT BAG |
|
T his is a very EASY & SIMPLE project when you need a small to medium gift bag on the fly!. And...there is enough scrap pieces of your DSP to make a matching Gift Card!
|
|
*You will need 2 matching pieces of 12 x 12 DSP
*Score both sheets of paper at 3 in on 3 of the 4 sides----On the 4th side---score at 1-1/2 in
*On the 1-1/2 in side fold and burnish so the opposite edge is showing. This will be your top border of your bag. Do this to both sheets.
*Using a single Hole Punch---measure in 1-1/2 in from the outmost score line---of the border and punch a hole on both sides---Do this to both of your 12 x 12 sheets of paper.
*On 1 sheet---cut out the bottom 2 outer squares.
*On the other sheet---cut a slit on the inner part of the outer square on the score line---you should have a rectangle flap in the center.
*Align your 2 sheets so that the the flap is over the opposite sheet (the one with the outer squares cut out). Make sure that you have your sides matching.
*You will glue the loose flap to the opposites coordinating rectangle
*Gently fold all the sides up and glue so as to match all the edges.
*Use your coordinating ribbon to make handles---slip through the holes--and tie---make to the length you like.
*Use your leftover squares of DSP to create a matching 3 x 3 gift card. Add some tissue paper and VOILE' There you have it!!
