Prepare 2-1/2" x 4" Basic White cardstock for embossing by generously pouncing with Embossing Buddy(tm). Stamp bucket & hearts on cardstock with VersaMark ink. Cover ink with Black Stampin' Emboss Powder. Tap off excess powder. Heat emboss with Heat Tool. Color hearts image with Sweet Sorbet or similar red Blends. Color the hearts using the brush tip of the “light” blend. Using the fine tip for control of the “dark” blend or same color, scribble using a circular motion on the inside of the outline of half of the heart. It doesn’t look too good at this point but wait - it will. Using the “light” blend, begin to blend the light and dark colors by using the fine tip of the Blend marker in a circular motion. It may take more than one pass. Try using the brush tip on the second pass to help with the blending.
Add Designer Series Paper to the front of the card. Stamp image with Versamark ink and add black powder to emboss image, heat. Add colored layer to cardstock layer (2-3/4" x 4-1/2"). Add layer to front of card. The layer will extend about 3/4" past the front of the card. Layer and add sentiment to front of the card and attach gems. The card front will lay on the flaps for display.
