T his card has a lot of dimension and a monochromatic color scheme. Use for any occasion.
Score and cut all dsp/cardstrocks:
~Soft Succulent card stock: 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 1/2", 1", 4 1/2", 5", 5 1/2", 6", 6 1/2", 10", and 10 1/2".
~Soft Succulent Fine Shimmer paper, 1" x 4"
~Basic White card stock- 2 3/4" x 4", 3 1/4" x 4", 3/4" x 4 1/4"
~Dry Brushed Metallic specialty paper, soft succulent color 2 3/8" x 3"
~Delicate Desert DSP, Soft Succulent wavy pattern, 3 1/4" x 4"
~On scored cardstock piece, use bonefolder and crease all folds.1/2", 5", 6", 10 1/2" creases are valley fold, the rest are mountain fold. Fold piece in half with 5 1/2" score on right. The center large section will be the front of the card.
~Adhere soft succulent dsp piece to the large front panel using adhesive of choice.
~Unfold card base. Use oval die from Fabulous Frames set and diecut the front area where the dsp is adhered. Only cut through front layers of card base.
~Stamp large flower using Soft Succulent ink onto center of basic white 3 1/4" x 4".
~Put the stamped layer roughly in place where it will go on the other larger section of card base. Fold front over on top and place the oval die in place. Use a post it or other low tack tape to hold in place. Diecut the flower.
~Adhere the white oval cutout piece in place.
~Add favorite adhesive onto one of the 1/2" sections next to center fold. Press the two center sections together. Add more adhesive to the panel on the opposite side and press down. Hold these two sides and press inward. This gives you the shape that will stand up.
~Use more basic white and the oval die to cut out two more ovals. Use multi purpose liquid glue and glue these two ovals together. Then glue an oval diecut out of the Dry Brushed Metallic paper on top of the white to make a slightly raised stack. Glue this stack into opening cut from card front. It should be slightly elevated.
~Using Soft Succulent ink, stamp the largest flower onto one of the oval centers cut out of the basic white from previous step. Then glue this into the opening of the ovals just glued in place.
~Stamp sentiment (congratulations) with the same ink color onto basic white. Trim down to 1/2"-3/4" in width and use the Lovely Labels pick-a-punch to punch out decorative ends.
~Diecut a rectangle from basic white using the larger rectangle die from the Desert Details set. This will go on the back and is where you can sign your name and write a note to the recipient.
~Stamp the large flower in the lower right corner of the rectangle using the same Soft Succulent ink. Then stamp the sentiment towards the top and in the center,I used "Wishing you all the happiness you can imagine". The sentiments come from the "Happiness Abounds" stamp set. Glue this onto the back in the center.
