Cut card stock and designer series paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sugarplum Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2 strips of 1" x 5" of white flowers on Melon Mambo background design from Brights Designer Series Paper Stack
- 3" x 5-1/2" from Whisper White Thick Card Stock
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Thick Card Stock
- 2-1/4" square from Whisper White Card Stock
Adhere the two designer series paper strips to the front of the Sweet Sugarplum card so they are centered side to side and about 1/8" from the top and bottom edges. There will be more of the Sweet Sugarplum showing on the sides than on the top and bottom.
Take an old Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush that no longer has much liquid in it. Remove the lid and unscrew the brush tip. Pry up the black ring at the top of the barrel. Fill the barrel with water and replace the black ring. Screw the brush tip back on. Give the barrel a squeeze to start water flowing through the brush tip.
Squeeze the lid of the Melon Mambo Ink Pad to get a pool of ink in the lid. Open the pad but leave the lid exposed. Use the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to pick up some ink from the puddle in the lid and color the center of the large strip of Whisper White Thick Card Stock in a vertical swath. Pick up more ink from the pad lid as needed. Remember to stroke the brush in one direction only. If you go back and forth, then the card stock could start to pill and tear. When you are done coloring with the Melon Mambo color, scribble the brush back and forth on scratch paper until no more color is coming off. By coloring with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, you will get shimmery color. If you don't want to have glitter on your ink pad, use a paper towel, tissue, or wet wipe to wipe up the excess ink on the pad lid before closing the pad.
Repeat the step above using the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad and coloring the right edge of the large strip of Whisper White Thick Card Stock. Remember to clean the tip of the brush before going on to the next color. Also remember to remove excess ink from the pad lid before closing it so you don't get glitter on your ink pad.
Repeat the steps above using the Berry Burst Ink Pad and coloring the left edge of the large strip of Whisper White Thick Card Stock. Remember to clean the tip of the brush before capping it. Also remember to remove excess ink from the pad lid before closing it so you don't get glitter on your ink pad.
Allow the colored strip of card stock to dry completely. You can speed up drying by using the Heat Tool if you wish.
Once the strip is dry, rub the Embossing Buddy all over it and tap off any powder.
Mount some of the smaller solid flower images from the Flower Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set on Blocks A, B, and C. Ink them up with the VersaMark Ink Pad and, working quickly, stamp them randomly all over the colored strip. Remember to re-ink a stamp each time you use it.
Sprinkle Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder over the strip and tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the jar to use again later.
Use the Heat Tool to heat the embossing powder until it is completely melted (shiny and smooth).
Adhere the colored, embossed strip across the center of the card front. Use a lot of SNAIL Adhesive as close to the edges as you can get to make sure the edges stay adhered down. They may want to curl up a little bit since you used water and heat on the card stock.
Pick out the hello thinlit from the Hello You Thinlits. Place the smaller Whisper White Thick Card Stock strip on the Precision Plate on top of your Platform on your Big Shot. Place the thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the card stock if needed.
Place the hello cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the hello cut out. Flip the hello cut out over and adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered top to bottom on the colored, embossed strip and about 1/2" from the right edge.
Mount the fatter, solid, 5-pointed flower image on Block C (if it isn't already mounted). Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the white square.
Mount the skinny, solid, 5-pointed flower on Block B (if it isn't already mounted). Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the sugarplum flower.
Pick out the matching, 5-pointed flower framelit from the Flower Fair Framelits. Place the stamped flower image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the flower framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Cut a 4" piece of Emerald Envy 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon. Fold it in half. Adhere it to the back of the flower cut out using a Stampin' Dimensional so the ends stick out to the side. Trim the ends.
Add more Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the flower cut out if needed. Remove the protective backings and adhere the flower to the left side of the card front so it overlaps the "h" in the "hello" by just a bit.
Adhere a small Clear Faceted Gem to the center of the flower.
