A gorgeous gate-fold card, showing off the lovely 'Ornate Layers' dies.
Make a gate-fold cardblank from Thick Whisper White cardstock...
Cut A4 to 14.8cm to 21cm.
Lay in trimmer in Landscape Format, line up in between 5.2 and 5.3cm, so approximately 5.25cm and SCORE.
Rotate 180 degrees an repeat.
Fold both flaps at same time to ensure they meet in the centre, and burnish the scorelines with a bonefolder.
Cut the following ...
Early Espresso cardstock : 9.8cm wide x 14.2cm high - then cut this in half on the short edge at 4.9cm, to make 2 matching panels.
Early Espresso cardstock : 6.2cm x 2.8cm.
DSP : 9.4cm wide x 13.8cm high - then cut this in half on the short edge at 4.7cm, to make 2 panels.
Die Cut & Punch the following...
Old Olive : 2x leaf punch outs
Early Espresso : Die Cut Ornate Layer Rectangle
Whisper White : Die Cut 2 Stitched Rectangles, the one that fits within the Ornate Layer.
Terracotta Tile : Die Cut the Large & Small flower from the Ornate Border Dies.
Choose your desired sentiments and stamp the following...
I chose : "your kindness is so loved" I stamped this on the inside of the card.
One Stitched Rectangle has "ever so much"
...and the front Stitched Rectangle has "THANKS"
Leave to dry.
Start assembling the card by gluing the Early Espresso panels onto the front flaps of the card - make sure they have equal borders top and bottom - THEY SHOULD MEET IN THE MIDDLE!
Next add the DSP panels - again, THEY SHOULD MEET IN THE MIDDLE.
Glue the "ever so much" sentiment on to the Early Espresso rectangle.
Close the RIGHT flap of the cardblank, so half of the internal sentiment is visible. Glue the reverse right side of the sentiment and adhere to the FLAP, covering the internal stamped sentiment.
Now close the LEFT flap of the cardblank (both flaps now closed) and glue the reverse left of the ornate layer, adding to LEFT flap of the cardblank, covering the 'right flap rectangle sentiment'.
With Tombow or glue dots, layer up the large flower onto a leaf punchout, add this to the bottom right corner of the Ornate Layer - TAKE CARE not to glue 'through' to the right underside panel, or the card won't open.
Layer the small flower onto just 1 leaf, snipped off the leaf punchout. Add this to the left top corner of the Ornate Layer.
Finally, add Gilded Gems to the flowers.
