Christmas Parcel card |
|
A simple Christmas card to use up scraps of any Christmas Designer Series Paper and Silver Foil Card Stock. The sentiment can be simply stamped or stepped up by embossing the sentiment in silver to match the parcels.
Create a standard card base using half a sheet of A4 thick Basic White that has been cut in half vertically at 10.5cm. Score at 14.7cm, to create a tent fold.
Cut 3 x silver foil card stock 5.2cm square.
Cut 3 x Christmas DSP 4.9cm square.
Cut 3 Silver foil card bows using die from Pierced Blooms Die set.
Cut 3 x silver foil card stock strips 5.2cm x 0.5cm
Stamp or emboss in silver "Merry Christmas" in the top right hand corner of your card base using a stamp set of your choice. This card used the Merry Christmas from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set.
Make up each individual parcel as shown in the picture. Glue the DSP onto the silver card stock, there will be a very narrow border of silver showing. Stick on the silver strip in the centre vertically and then use a glue dot to attach the bow.
Arrange the three completed parcels as shown. The two bottom parcels are stuck on using liquid glue, the upper most one is stuck down using Stampin Dimensional foam pads.
