S oft and pretty congratulations card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Highland Heather Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-3/4" x 5" of gray bricks in zig zag pattern design from In Good Taste Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/4" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 4" square from Purple Posy Cardstock
- 4" square from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 3-7/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/4" square from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Gray Granite Cardstock
- 1-3/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
Adhere the piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to the front of the Highland Heather card.
Mount the "congratulations..." sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle.
Pick out the smaller label die with rounded ends from the Painted Labels Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card so it is about 1-1/8" from the top and about 3/4" from the right side.
Pick out the large, more filled in bouquet die from the Many Layered Blossoms Dies. Put it on top of the Purple Posy rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so that you cut out the three flowers on the bottom. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Peel the protective backing off of the large Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the large Highland Heather square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the large, more detailed bouquet die from the Many Layered Blossoms Dies. Put it on top of the Highland Heather square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Highland Heather (purple) side is facing up and you are cutting out the bottom three flowers. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Make sure the protective backing for the Adhesive Sheet stays in place for now. Leave the die out.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed Highland Heather cut out and adhere it to the more solid Purple Posy cut out so the petals all line up.
Use Paper Snips to cut the flower on the upper left corner and the flower on the bottom right corner apart from everything else.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the cut out flowers on the card front so they overlap the left side of the sentiment cut out a bit and the flower cut from the bottom right corner is on the bottom and tucked behind the flower cut from the upper left corner. This is to figure out the spacing and layout.
When happy with the layout, adhere the flower cut from the bottom right corner to the card front using Stampin' Seal and/or Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the center of the flower cut out to adhere the flower cut out from the upper left corner to the card front.
Pick out one of the small, single flower dies from the Many Layered Blossoms Dies. Put it on top of the small Highland Heather square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the center of the small flower cut out to adhere it to the front of the card so it overlaps the left edges of the two big flower cut outs where they overlap.
Peel the protective backing off of the small Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the Gray Granite square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Place the large, more detailed bouquet die from the Many Layered Blossoms Dies on top of the Gray Granite square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Gray Granite (gray) side is facing up and you are cutting out one of the stems with small leaves. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Make sure the protective backing for the Adhesive Sheet stays in place for now.
Use Paper Snips to trim the leaf stem away from the rest of the cut out.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the detailed Gray Granite stem with leaves cut out and adhere it to the front of the card so it overlaps the top left side of the sentiment cut out and the bottom of the stem is tucked under the top flower cut out.
Cut an 8" piece of the Gray Granite 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow at a slight angle to the bottom right side of the sentiment cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large Purple Posy dot from a sheet of Playing With Patterns Resin Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the small Highland Heather flower cut out.
