Brushed Metallic wreath |
|
T he Brushed Metallic cardstock can make any card look amazing. This wreath card has more of a masculine vibe. You could replace the Thanksgiving sentiment with a Birthday greeting.
Card Base: Cut Early Espresso 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut paper In Good Taste paper pack 4 X 5 ¼. Attach card front to card base.
Die cut leaf wreath piece from the darkest of the Brushed Metallic papers. Cut a sprig wreath from each of the two other colors of the Brushed Metallic papers.
Attach sprig wreath pieces to card front. I offset one wreath piece over the other so both colors can be seen. Attach leaf wreath piece on top. I used glue dots to attach wreath pieces to card front.
Cut a piece of Whisper White ½” X 3”. Punch each end with Banners Pick A Punch. Stamp sentiment on this banner piece with Early Espresso ink. I tucked the banner piece under wreath pieces.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
