Cut card stock and glimmer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Bermuda Bay Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Soft Sky Card Stock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Soft Sky Card Stock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" of Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper from 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack
- 2 pieces of 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" of Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper from 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack
Place the large Soft Sky rectangle into the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the embossed Soft Sky rectangle to the front of the Bermuda Bay card. I adhered mine so that the stars showing appeared debossed rather than embossed.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Birthday Blast Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the smaller Soft Sky rectangle.
Pick out the Layering Ovals Framelit that cuts out a smooth oval that is 2-1/16" x 3". Place the stamped sentiment on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the Layering Ovals Framelit on top so the sentiment is centered in the oval. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the side of the brush tip on the Bermuda Bay Marker to outline the edge of the oval.
Place the large Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper rectangle glitter side down on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Big Shot Platform. Place the star burst Star Blast Edgelit on top of the rectangle. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the tiny pieces, be sure to save the largest star and one of the medium stars that are popped out though. Placing the glimmer paper glitter side down helps to keep from dulling the cutting edges on your edgelit.
Use Paper Snips to trim off the line across the bottom of the star burst cut out so it is even with the bottoms of the small stars on either side.
Place one of the smaller Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper rectangles glitter side down on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Big Shot Platform. Place the 3 loops Star Blast Edgelit on top of the rectangle. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the piece. Placing the glimmer paper glitter side down helps to keep from dulling the cutting edges on your edgelit.
Repeat Step 9 with the other small Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper rectangle.
Place the sentiment oval upside down on your work surface. Place the star burst glimmer paper cut out on the top of the oval so the small stars along the bottom will just peek out on either side of the oval. Use Tear & Tape Adhesive pieces to secure the glimmer paper cut out to the oval.
Leaving the sentiment oval upside down, place the two loop glimmer paper cut outs on either side of the bottom of the oval (glimmer side down) so the bottoms of the loops are hidden and the two ends in the middle almost touch. Use Tear & Tape Adhesive pieces to secure the glimmer paper pieces to the oval.
Flip the sentiment oval over. Using Paper Snips, trim off any glimmer paper pieces from the loops that are sticking out on the sides.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment oval/glimmer paper cut outs to the front of the card.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the medium star you saved to the center of the big star at the top of the oval.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the large star that you saved to the bottom center of the sentiment oval so it hides the gap between the ends of the loops.
Cut an 8" piece of Bermuda Bay 1/8" Stitched Ribbon. Tie a small bow. Trim the ends.
Attach the bow to the right side of the sentiment oval near the center using a Mini Glue Dot.
