Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Emerald Envy Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Night of Navy Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" of green watercolor wash design from Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" of lighter wood grain design from Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack
Use the corner rounder punch portion of the Envelope Punch Board to punch all four corners of the piece of Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Best Birds Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the Naturally Eclectic Designer Paper piece.
Mount the branch with leaves image from the Best Birds Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on the strip of Crumb Cake Cardstock.
Pick out the matching branch thinlit from the Birds & Blooms Thinlits. Place the stamped Crumb Cake strip on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the branch thinlit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the Emerald Envy Marker to color in the leaves.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the branch to the bottom of the Naturally Eclectic Designer Paper layer so that the end of the branch sticks off the left side just a bit. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess.
Adhere the Naturally Eclectic Designer Paper piece to the Night of Navy rectangle and then to the front of the Emerald Envy card.
Pick out the solid bird thinlit that cuts out a bird facing to the right from the Birds & Blooms Thinlits. Place the Soft Suede rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the solid bird thinlit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the detailed bird thinlit that cuts out a bird facing to the right from the Birds & Blooms Thinlits. Place the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper rectangle on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the detailed bird thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces from the die.
Place the detailed bird cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the detailed bird cut out. Flip the detailed bird cut out over and adhere it to the solid Soft Suede bird cut out.
Adhere the bird to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals so it looks like he is standing on the branch.
