Beauty Of Tomorrow Gold Vellum Leaves |
B eautiful fall card perfect for lots of occasions.
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and shimmer vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 3" square from Gold 12" x 12" Shimmer Vellum
- 2" x 4-7/8" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 1-7/8" x 4-3/4" of brown and gold foil oak leaves on purple background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/8" x 2-7/8" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Adhere the rectangle of Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Paper to the long, skinny rectangle of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.
Adhere the matted designer paper to the left side of the vertical large Rich Razzleberry rectangle so there is about 1/8" for Rich Razzleberry showing on the top, left, and bottom edges.
Pick out the large, intricate leaves die from the Beautiful Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the Gold Shimmer Vellum square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you'll cut out as much as possible using one end of the die. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut some of the die cut shimmer vellum leaves off so you have one large piece that will fit into the lower right corner of the Rich Razzleberry/matted designer paper rectangle and will overlap the matted designer paper just a bit. Save any small leaves cut off from the rest.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the cut down shimmer vellum leaves to the lower right corner of the Rich Razzleberry/matted designer paper rectangle.
Mount the large text rectangle image from the Beauty Of Tomorrow Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical vanilla rectangle.
Mount the smaller leaves and buds image from the Beauty Of Tomorrow Set on Block C (it fits at an angle). Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper a couple of times, then WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it in the lower left corner of the stamped vanilla rectangle at an angle.
Mount the splatters image from the Beauty Of Tomorrow Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper a couple of times, then WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it in the upper right corner of the stamped vanilla rectangle at an angle.
Rub a Sponge Dauber across the open Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad to get it inky. Rub excess ink off on Grid Paper. Lightly rub color along the edges of the stamped vanilla rectangle. Get more ink on the Sponge Dauber as needed.
Tip: I just clean my Sponge Daubers when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Adhere the stamped and sponged vanilla rectangle to the center of the smaller Rich Razzleberry rectangle.
Adhere the matted vanilla rectangle to Rich Razzleberry/matted designer paper/shimmer vellum leaves rectangle so it overlaps the matted designer paper near the top as shown.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere some of the small, cut off shimmer leaves to the upper right corner as shown.
Adhere the large Rich Razzleberry rectangle to the large Blackberry Bliss rectangle and then to the front of the Rich Razzleberry card.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card in the lower left corner of the matted vanilla rectangle.
