Beauty Of Tomorrow Birthday Bird Wishes |
P retty birthday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of various birds and plants on light brown background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, cut so the design is vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Paper to the center of the Blackberry Bliss rectangle.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the 3/8" Diamond Weave Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted designer paper rectangle so it is about 1-7/8" from the bottom. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Blackberry Bliss rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Cinnamon Cider card.
Mount the birthday sentiment from the All Squared Away Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it near the bottom of the vertical Cinnamon Cider rectangle in the center.
Pick out the rectangle with notched corners die from the Painted Labels Dies. Put it on top of the stamped Cinnamon Cider rectangle so the sentiment is centered in the bottom half.
Mount the flying bird image from the Beauty Of Tomorrow Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it on the top of the Cinnamon Cider rectangle so the beak is pointing to the upper left corner and it is centered over the sentiment inside the die.
Put the die on top of the stamped bird and sentiment cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image and sentiment are centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Carefully remove one of the delicate stems of gold Queen Anne's lace tops and leaves and one of the spiky tipped flowers and leaves from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack.
Flip the bird and sentiment cut out over so it is upside down but still vertical.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the gold ephemera punch outs to the back of the die cut out so they stick out on the left side (this will be the right side when everything is face up again). Let some of the leaves and flowers overlap the front of the die cut out.
Put Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on the backs of the ephemera punch outs where they will be hidden. Put more Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the die cut out.
Remove the protective backings from the Dimensionals and adhere everything to the front of the card so the die cut out is near the left edge and is centered over the ribbon. Make sure the ephemera punch outs do not overhang the edges of the card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up two large Rich Razzleberry sequins from the sheet of Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the spiky tipped flowers.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up two small gems from the sheet of Gilded Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the sequins.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the 3/8" Diamond Weave Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card using a Mini Glue Dot so it is centered over the ribbon already on the card front on the right edge of the sentiment and bird die cut out.
