This card is a CASE (copy and share everything) from a sample project in Stampin' Up!'s annual catalog on page 130.
The stamp set used is Beautiful Day
The Cardstock you will need are ... Two pieces of Watercolor paper. One for the watercolor wash background behind the butterflies and the other to stamp your butterflies. I used Crumb Cake for the card base, a scrap of Petal Pink cardstock for the die-cut layer behind the sentiment.
The inks used are ... Pool Party, Petal Pink, Rocco Rose, Merry Merlot, Sahara Sand
To watercolor your images use Sahara Sand ink to first ink up your image, then stamp off once before stamping on the watercolor paper. Watercolor in the areas loosely building layers of the ink wash. I added a color wash to the background watercolor piece in Pool Party ink and let it dry before running it through the Big Shot with the Subtle embossing folder.
Cut the detailed stitched label in half and extend the die-cut with a greeting in middle. Fussy cut the butterflies and attach them to the color washed piece. I used Tombow liquid glue. Trim around the butterflies where they stick off the color washed, embossed piece of cardstock before adding to your card front. I added the Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins just like the sample to the finished card front.
