For both cards, fold on the 5-1/2" score line like normal to make a card.
Then, fold on the 2-3/4" line so the flap folds back on the top of the card making a "z-fold card."
As you are ready to stamp using the Banner Year Set or Cute Halloween Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
For Banner Year bat card:
Mount "Boo!" sentiment from Banner Year Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad or Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the large, horizontal white rectangle so it is about 1" from the top and about 7/8" from the left edge.
For Cutest Halloween ghost card:
Mount "Hey, boo!" sentiment from Cutest Halloween Set on Block G. Carefully press the stamp to the edge of the open Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad or Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad so you ink up ONLY the word "boo!". Stamp the word on the left side of the large, horizontal white rectangle so it is about 1" from the top and about 1" from the left edge.
For both cards:
Adhere the 2-3/4" x 3-7/8" piece of designer paper to the right side of the stamped, horizontal, white rectangle.
Then, adhere the layered white cardstock/designer paper rectangle to the large black rectangle and then to the inside black flap of the card.
For both cards:
Adhere the 2-3/8" x 3-7/8" piece of designer paper to the 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Basic Black and then to the small front flap on the front of the card.
For the Banner Year bat card:
Mount the "happy haunting" sentiment from the Banner Year Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical 1-3/4" x 2" white rectangle.
Use strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the black glitter paper rectangle.
Turn the matted sentiment rectangle over so it is upside down. Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the right side of the back of the rectangle ONLY. Remove the protective backings. Adhere the matted sentiment rectangle to the right edge of the front flap of the card so it is centered over the folded edge and is about 3/4" from the top edge. Make sure NO adhesive goes over the folded edge or the card won't open.
For the Cutest Halloween ghost card:
Mount the "trick or treat" sentiment from the Cutest Halloween Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad or Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical gray stripes designer paper rectangle.
Adhere the stamped sentiment designer paper rectangle to the center of the small black rectangle at a slight angle.
For the Banner Year bat card:
Mount the bat image from the Banner Year Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad or Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it three times on the thin white strip remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut the bats out by hand.
Place the cut out bats on some Grid Paper. Use the brush tip of the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to outline the edges of the cut out bats covering any white edges.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the bats to the matted stamped sentiment rectangle. Make sure NO adhesive goes over the folded edge or the card won't open.
For the Cutest Halloween ghost card:
Mount the outline ghost image from the Cutest Halloween Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad or Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom edge of the long, skinny white strip.
Mount the solid ghost image from the Cutest Halloween Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it on Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it inside the ghost outline image.
Mount the ghost face and arms image from the Cutest Halloween Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the ghost image. Leave the stamp on the block.
Unlock the Halloween Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped ghost outline image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Slide the other end of the white strip into the unlocked Halloween Punch and punch out another ghost shape.
Flip the plain white ghost shape over so the tail of the ghost is pointing to the left.
Re-ink the ghost face and arms image on Block A with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the plain white ghost punch out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the green ghost punch out to the front of the card so it appears to be coming out of the "trick or treat" sentiment.
Adhere the white ghost punch out to the lower right edge of the inside back flap of the card.
For both cards:
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon (I used this one for the bat card) or Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon (I used this one for the ghost card).
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon to the lower right corner of the matted sentiment rectangle. Make sure NO adhesive goes over the edge or the card won't open.
