A Wish For Everything Oak Leaves Thanksgiving |
T hanksgiving card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and adhesive sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" of light brown oak leaf clusters with gold accents on purple background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 3-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Place the Blackberry Bliss rectangle horizontally on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Mount the large bracken fern image from the Beauty Of Tomorrow Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the horizontal Blackberry Bliss rectangle so the tip of the fern is near the center of the rectangle and the bottom of the fern goes off the right corner.
Adhere the piece of Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper to the left edge of the horizontal, stamped Blackberry Bliss rectangle.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it hides the seam between the two pieces. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Blackberry Bliss rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to center of the large Cinnamon Cider rectangle and then to the front of the Blackberry Bliss card.
Mount the script word "happy" from the A Wish For Everything Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Rich Razzleberry rectangle.
Pick out the smallest tag with angled top die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the top of the tag is on the left side and the sentiment is centered. Run through the machine.
Use your fingers to tear off the bottom edge of the tag cut out.
Cut an 10" piece of the Linen Thread.
Fold the trim in half. Stick the folded end of the trim through the hole in the top of the tag and pull it out slightly. Feed the loose ends of the trim through the folded loop and pull tight.
Slide one loose end of the Linen Thread under the ribbon already on the card front near the top. Tie the loose ends of the thread around the ribbon using a small bow. Trim the ends of the thread.
Put a small amount of Stampin' Seal on the back of the tag and adhere it to the front of the card at a slight angle so the bottom right corner is about 1-1/4" from the bottom of the card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the small Cinnamon Cider rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the word "thanksgiving" die from the Word Wishes Dies. Put it on top of the Cinnamon Cider rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Cinnamon Cider (light brown) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the "thanksgiving" word cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card so it is near the bottom of the Blackberry Bliss rectangle and the beginning of the word overlaps the ribbon and designer paper a bit. The word may overlap the bottom edge of the "happy" tag a bit as well.
Use the fine tip of the Blackberry Bliss Marker to make the dots over the letters "i" in the word.
