Baked Brown Sugar Pieces:
3 ~ Top Notes (score one piece in half horizontally)
2 ~ 1-3/4" Scallop Circles for Wings
1 ~ 1-1/4" Circle (cut in half) for the Eye lids
Tangerine Tango Pieces:
2 ~ Full Hearts for feet
1 ~ Small heart for beak
Cut a 2-1/2" Circle of Retro Fresh DSP for the belly.
At this point I sponged all the pieces with Baked Brown Sugar. (the eyelids are the only part of the eyes that are sponged)
For the eyes:
2 ~ 1-1/4" Circles of Very Vanilla
2 ~ 1" Circles of Bermuda Bay
2 ~ 3/4" Circles of Basic Black
Wait to adhere the head for the very end.
Using the picture as a guide, adhere the pieces together suing a tape runner.
The head creates the fold of the card, so you will want to use sticky strip for a strong hold.
I found it easiest if you adhere the back of the owl on to the back of the head first. Then use the back to line up the front and just fold the head down over the front of the card.
I used the White Signo Pen to add some highlights to the eyes.
