T he papers in the Brightly Gleaming paper pack are GORGEOUS holiday paper's. That doesn’t mean we need to save them just for holiday projects. This is a beautiful birthday card to send to someone special.
Card Base: Cut Pretty Peacock 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut copper foil paper 4 X 5 ¼. Punch out label with Everyday Label Punch from copper foil mat. Attach mat to card base.
Card Front: Cut Pretty Peacock copper swirl paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Attach to copper foil card mat.
Stamp sentiment with Pretty Peacock ink on Whisper White paper. Punch out sentiment with Label Me Fancy punch.
Color two of the Clear Epoxy Droplets with the dark Pretty Peacock blends marker.
Use the largest shaped die (not the rectangular) in the Stitched So Sweetly die set to cut the vellum label.
Attach the punched white label to the copper label. Attach dimensionals to the back of the foil label and attach to the vellum label. Attach adhesive to the back of the vellum label only where you see the copper label, this way the adhesive will not show. Attach these 3 labels to the card front.
Attach colored Epoxy Droplets to the vellum label.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
