Project Recipe
The card base is Pear Pizzazz cut at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, scored at 4-1/4.
Cut a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock to 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Place the detailed die of several poppies on one end of the cardstock and run it through the die cutting machine. Then flip it around and cut it again in the other direction.
Cut the large poppy solid and outline pieces out of Very Vanilla cardstock. Glue pieces together then use sponge daubers to add color. Sponge a little Poppy Parade and a bit of Daffodil Delight inks in the center, then add Craft White ink around the edges.
Cut the small poppy solid and outline pieces out of Poppy Parade cardstock. Glue pieces together, then use sponge daubers to add color. Sponge Poppy Parade ink in the flower center and white ink around the edges.
For the flower buds, sponge a bit of white on the yellow edges.
For the leaves, use Shaded Spruce on the dark portions and a little white just around the edges. Do the same with the Pear Pizzazz ink on the lighter portions of the leaves. The sponging adds tints and values to the diecuts.
Raise the Poppy Parade die cut panel up on Stampin' Dimensionals in the center of the card base.
Arrange all the die cuts around the card popping some up with dimensionals and allowing others to lie flat on the panel.
Stamp the sentiment in Pear Pizzazz ink on a strip of Whisper White cardstock.
