Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Bumblebee Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of one of the Just Jade (green) designs from Flowers For Every Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 4-3/4" of faint white grid on yellow background design from Flowers For Every Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Just Jade Cardstock
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one short edge of the yellow Flowers For Every Season Designer Paper strip into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Adhere the punched designer paper strip to the center of the Just Jade Flowers For Every Season Designer Paper rectangle vertically so that the notched end is on the bottom.
Adhere the green Flowers For Every Season Designer Paper rectangle to the front of the Bumblebee card.
Put a short (about 1-1/2") line of Stampin' Seal vertically down the center of the yellow punched designer paper strip starting about 1" from the top.
Adhere a Square Vellum Doily to the front of the card using the line of Stampin' Seal. Make sure the doily is centered side to side over the punched designer paper strip and is about 1/2" from the top of the card.
Mount the lilies image from the Posted For You Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp once on Grid Paper, then WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it in the center of the vertical piece of Basic White near the bottom edge. Leave room to punch the image out.
Unlock the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Use the fine tip of the Just Jade Marker to color over the veins in the leaves.
Use the fine tip of the Bumblebee Marker to color in the bud tips. Use the brush tip of the Bumblebee Marker to add some stripes of color to the flowers.
Squeeze the lid of the Bumblebee Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the lilies. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.
Squeeze the lid of the Just Jade Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the stems and leaves. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.
Adhere the colored lilies postage stamp punch out to the front of the card so it is centered over the doily.
Mount the "Just a note" or "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Posted For You Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal strip of Just Jade near one end. Leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Classic Label Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom of the postage stamp punch out and is centered side to side.
