Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Real Red Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of green stripes or green plaid pattern from Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper, if using the stripes pattern cut so the stripes are vertical when the rectangle is vertical
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Adhere the rectangle of Toile Tidings Designer Paper to the front of the Real Red card.
Mount the birds on branches image from the Posted For You Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Saddle Brown StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp in the center of the vertical larger piece of Very Vanilla near the bottom edge. Leave room to punch the image out.
Unlock the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Squeeze the lid of the Garden Green Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use the Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the leaves and branches on the punch out. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.

Adhere the colored birds on branches punch out to the front of the card so it is about 1" from the top and between 1/2" and 3/4" from the left edge.
As you are ready to stamp using the Banner Year Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "be merry" sentiment from the Banner Year Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal thinner strip of Very Vanilla near one end. Leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Classic Label Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it slightly overlaps the bottom right corner of the postage stamp punch out.
Cut an 8" piece of the Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the front of the card at a slight angle where the sentiment and postage stamp punch outs overlap.
