T his easy fun card reveals hidden surprises in patterned paper through die cut poppy windows.
Project Recipe
Paper Cut Sizes:
Basic Black Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Peaceful Poppies DSP for top insert - 4 x 6, scored on right side at 3/4"
Whisper White insert - 4 x 5 1/4
Score the Peaceful Poppy patterned paper at 3/4 inch on the right side of the paper. Create a 1/2 circle notch in the middle of the left side with the 3/4" circle punch.
Fold and glue the patterned paper onto the Whisper White insert so that the back of the white panel has 3/4 DSP glued onto it. Set aside.
Cut a poppy windows from the upper right side of the card. Use the same die on the reverse side of the front base to cut more poppy windows from the lower left side.
Glue the back of the Whisper White panel into the inside of the card so that the patterned paper is ontop and covering the white.
Cut a label from Shimmery White paper using the die cut from Painted Labels Dies. Wipe the die cut with the embossing buddy.
Using VersaMark, ink the greeting onto the label.
Sprinkle the label with black embossing powder and heat set.
Use StazOn black ink stanp poppy flowers into the corners of the envelope and white insert.
Sponge blobs of color onto the label: Flirty Flamingo, Crushed Curry, Poppy Parade, Rich Razzleberry.
Sponge blobs of color onto the stamped flowers.
Adhere the greeting label onto the front of the card in the lower right corner with dimensionals.
Adhere gold sequins to the center of the die cut flower forms with tiny dots of liquid glue.
