Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" of light brown antlers/branches on dark brown background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" of light brown herringbone pattern on dark brown background design from Blackberry Beauty 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 4" from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
Insert the Garden Green rectangle into the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder so the trees will be embossed vertically on the horizontal rectangle with the tops of the trees being near the top of the rectangle. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the antlers/branches strip of Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper to the left side of the horizontal, dry embossed Garden Green rectangle so the left edge of the designer paper is about 5/8" from the left edge of the green rectangle.
Adhere the dry embossed green rectangle with designer paper attached to the front of the Cinnamon Cider card.
Pick out the scalloped, stitched rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 2" x 3-1/8" from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Put it on top of the herringbone pattern Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the scalloped, stitched rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 1-5/8" x 2-3/4" from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Put it on top of the 2" x 3" Cinnamon Cider rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Peaceful Deer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the "let's celebrate" sentiment from the Peaceful Deer Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Cinnamon Cider Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the Cinnamon Cider scalloped, stitched rectangle cut out in lines across the horizontal rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Adhere the stamped Cinnamon Cider rectangle cut out to the center of the herringbone designer paper rectangle cut out.
Adhere the matted cardstock/designer paper rectangle cut outs to the front of the card so the left edge overlaps the right edge of the designer paper strip a bit. The top of the rectangles should be about 3/4" from the top of the card and the right edge of the rectangles should be about 1" from the right edge of the card.
Ink up the solid, jumping deer with words on it image on Block D using the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the remaining, horizontal Cinnamon Cider strip. Leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Deer Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped deer image into the punch and get it centered in the deer punching area. Punch.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the deer punch out to the front of the card so it is centered over the stamped Cinnamon Cider rectangle cut out.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8" Reversible Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot at an angle to the front of the card so it covers the lower left corner of the stamped Cinnamon Cider rectangle cut out.
