Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Soft Succulent Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Sahara Sand Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/4" of one of the brown designs from He's The Man 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 3" square from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 3" square from Sahara Sand Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1-3/4" x 2" from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1-5/8" x 1-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
As you are ready to stamp using the Peaceful Deer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Merry Christmas," "Let's celebrate," or "It's the best time of year" sentiment from the Peaceful Deer Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the bottom of the large, horizontal Sahara Sand rectangle about 1/2" from the bottom.
Adhere the strip of He's The Man Designer Paper to the stamped Sahara Sand rectangle so it is about 1/2" from the top. The left and right edges will be even.
Adhere the stamped and layered Sahara Sand rectangle to the front of the Soft Succulent card.
One at a time, peel the protective backings off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangles. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangles to one side of the Soft Succulent rectangles. Be sure to leave the other protective backings in place for now.
Pick out both argyle square dies from the
All That Dies. Put them on top of the Soft Succulent rectangles on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Soft Succulent (green) sides are face up. Make sure the dies and cardstock do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
One at a time, carefully remove the protective backings from the argyle square cut outs. Adhere them to the center of the designer paper strip on the card front so they create argyle diamonds and the left edge of the one is about 3/8" from the left side of the card and the right edge of the other is about 3/8" from the right side of the card.
Pick out the scalloped circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a scalloped circle that is 2-9/16" diameter. Put it on top of the Soft Succulent square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 2-3/8" diameter. Put it on top of the Sahara Sand square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the Sahara Sand smooth circle cut out to the center of the Soft Succulent scalloped circle cut out.
Adhere the matted circles to the front of the card so they overlap the center of the designer paper strip and the interior ends of the argyle diamonds.
Mount the solid, jumping deer with words on it image from the Peaceful Deer Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal vanilla strip. Leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Deer Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped deer image into the punch and get it centered in the deer punching area. Punch.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the deer punch out to the center of the layered circles on the card front.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 small dots from the sheet of Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere two of the dots to the center of the argyle diamonds and the third on the upper right side of the matted circles as shown.
