Project Recipe
Depending on if you have a straight edged cutting plate, or if you have a beveled cutting plate, you will off set the cutting platform and the cutting plate. Use masking or washi tape to hold plate in place.
On your project, lightly draw with a pencil the line at which your die cut will cut above the line, and not cut below the line. This line will be lined up with the edge of your cutting plate. Use washi tape to hold your cardstock in place.
Your die will be placed on the line. Note that the part of the die to the left of the line in my photo is the portion that will be cut. The die to the right of the line in my photo will not be cut, because the cutting plate does not go beyond the line.
Use Washi tape to hold the die in place. Continue on until the top portion is cut. When you remove the die and paper, you may need to fussy cut or use a trimmer to cut the portions that did not cut away.
