T he March 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit included such fun envelope lines, I had to use them on a card.
Project Recipe
Card Base: You can use the Pretty Peacock card base that comes in the March Paper Pumpkin kit. You can also use Pretty Peacock paper to make your card base, to do that cut 8 ½ X 11 Pretty Peacock paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Bumblebee 4 X 5 ¼. Punch out from the center with the Story Label Punch.
Card Front: Cut the flower print envelope liner paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Attach the card front to the Bumblebee mat. Attach these pieces to the card base.
Stamp birthday greeting with Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White card stock. Punch out with 1 ½’ circle punch. Attach the punched circle to the Bumblebee punch piece.
To make the “nest” of twine for card front; wrap twine around your closed fingers four times. Lay this nest on your card front and tape down in the center, catching all the pieces of twine.
Attach the Bumblebee/stamped white label over the nest with dimensionals.
