Project Recipe
Cardstock sizes:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Crumb Cake
4" x 5 1/4" Pretty Peacock
3 1/2" x 3 3/4" Whisper White
4" x 3/4" Decorative Series Paper (DSP)
4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White (inside of card)
Score your 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Crumb Cake cardstock at 4 1/4" and burnish your score lines with your bone folder.
Using the Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder, emboss the 4" x 5 1/4" Pretty Peacock cardstock. Glue this layer to the front of your cardbase.
Glue the 4" x 3/4" Decorative Series Paper (DSP) strip about 3/4" from the bottom edge of the embossed Pretty Peacock layer.
Stamp the sunflower in the lower left of the 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" Whisper White cardstock. The first layer of the flower stamp in Crushed Curry, the second flower layer in Cajun Craze, then the center in Cajun Craze.
To stamp the leaves, I stamp the largest of the flower layers on to a post-it note or scratch paper and cut it out. Then I covered my stamped flower on my cardstock. Now that the flower image is covered, I stamped the leaves in Old Olive ink. Once you have stamped the leaves, remove the post-it note from the flower (save this template in your stamp case to reuse).
Stamp your sentiment in Pretty Peacock in the upper right corner. Adhere the stamped 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" Whisper White cardstock to the cardbase using dimensionals.
To complete the inside of the card, I stamped another sunflower in the lower-left corner using the same steps as the front of the card.
You can also stamp the sunflower onto your envelope if desired.
