Project Recipe
Begin with a piece of smoky slate card stock that measures 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2". (I used the envelope punch board to round the upper corners).
Using a 5 1/4" x 4" whisper white card stock, round the upper corners of this piece of card stock as well and then stamp the decorative label from the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set in daffodil delight in the upper portion of the white card stock. Cut another 5 1/4" x 4" whisper white and round the upper corners and stamp the inside greeting a couple of flowers. You can attach this to the inside of the card.
You are going to use 4 strips of card stock each measuring 4" x 1 1/2" in each color: so saffron, daffodil delight, smoky slate and basic gray. Using your fringe scissors, cut up about 1/2 to 3/4 along the long way. Attach these beginning at the bottom of your white card stock beginning with so saffron, then daffodil delight, then smoky slate and finally basic gray (they will layer on top of each other.
Wrap the smoky slate chevron ribbon along the top to hide the top part of the basic gray strip. Now you can add this to the front of your card.
Cut (in smoky slate) the frame from the Apothecary Accent Framelits that matches the style of the stamped frame. Stamp the birthday greeting in basic gray ink and use dimensionals to add to the stamped frame.
Using so saffron card stock and daffodil delight ink, stamp a flower from the flower shop stamp set and punch with the pansy punch. Also stamp a flower from the petite petals stamp set and punch with the petite petals punch. Using smoky slate card stock and basic gray ink, stamp another petite petals flower and punch with petite petals punch. Layer the small gray flower on the yellow flower using dimensionals and then add this to the ribbon using dimensionals as well. Add the other yellow petite flower using a glue dot to the upper portion of the frame. Add a couple of pearls for accent.
