P eaceful holiday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crumb Cake Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2" x 4" of Real Red toile design with leaves from Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Real Red Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Crumb Cake Cardstock
Adhere the strip of Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper to the Very Vanilla rectangle so it is about 1-1/8" from the top.
Adhere the Very Vanilla rectangle to the front of the Crumb Cake card.
As you are ready to stamp using the So Many Stars Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Peace" or "Love" sentiment from the So Many Stars Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the Real Red rectangle in the center so it is as close to the bottom as possible.
Mount the bunny image from the Nature's Beauty Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the Crumb Cake square so the bunny's ears are about 3/8" from the top.
Mount the set of 2 dry bushes image from the Nature's Beauty Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it just to the left of the bunny on the Crumb Cake square so the bottom of the lowest bush is about even with the bottom of the bunny.
Use the White Stampin' Chalk Marker to color in the bunny's tail and to color some of the ground. The white chalk marker will get more opaque as it dries.
Adhere the stamped and colored Crumb Cake square to the top of the stamped Real Red rectangle so it is centered side to side and just above the stamped sentiment. There should be about 1/8" of red showing at the top of the Crumb Cake square.
Adhere the layered bunny/sentiment pieces to the front of the card so they are centered side to side and the Crumb Cake square portion is centered over the designer paper strip.
Cut a 3" piece of Real Red 3/8" Cotton Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at an angle so it is in the lower right corner of the Crumb Cake square.
