M irror stamping is a fun technique that can be achieved is several different ways.
Project Recipe
When doing mirrored image stamping, there are a couple different ways to do it. First you need an item that you can stamp your mirrored image onto..here are some options:
1. a blank photo-polymer stamp
2. the backside of a photo-polymer image stamp that is larger than the image you are stamping
3. window sheet
For this example, I cut a piece of window sheet 4-1/4 x 5 and placed it in my stamp positioning tool (Stampardus or Misti or other can be used)
Positioned my stamp to the left side and stamped the image with versamark and Memento black.
Leaving your window sheet in its position, take your Whisper White cardstock piece (4 x 5-1/4) and gently line up and lay over the freshly stamped image.
Rub it gently to transfer the ink to you white cardstock. When you lift it off, apply your clear emboss powder & heat set.
Remove the window sheet from your positioning tool and lay your white cardstock, image side up in position.
The stamp is already perfectly positioned to now stamp the image as normal with your versamark & black. Apply the clear embossing powder & heat set.
The two images should be facing each other and perfectly aligned.
I added some branches and leaves. Colored the birds and leaves using my Stampin Blends markers.
Embossed my sentiment, used the Rich Razzleberry card base.
**If you do not have window sheets or a blank polymer stamp, you can use the back side (mounting side) of any polymer stamp larger than the image you are trying to mirror.
