A nniversary card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Granny Apple Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Coastal Cabana Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of diagonal blue stripes on white background pattern from How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper
- 2 squares each 2-3/4" square from Coastal Cabana Cardstock
- 2-3/4" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 2-5/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
Adhere the rectangle of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper to the large Coastal Cabana rectangle and then to the front of the Granny Apple Green card.
Mount the "You Make Me Happy" sentiment from the Meant To Be Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Coastal Cabana Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one of the Coastal Cabana squares.
Pick out the large, open, scallop-edged heart framelit that cuts out a heart that is 1-7/8" wide from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. Place the sentiment stamped Coastal Cabana square on the Cutting Pad on the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the heart framelit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Tip: This framelit cuts out the center heart shape which you are using on this project. It also cuts out a thin, scallop-edged heart frame. Use the Die Brush and/or paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the heart frame and throw it away or use it on another project.
Tip: Keep the framelit out for use on the next step.
Place the Granny Apple Green square on the Cutting Pad on the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the heart framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Tip: Use the Die Brush and/or paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. You are using both pieces on this project.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the remaining Coastal Cabana square. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Coastal Cabana facing up).
Pick out the filigree heart thinlit from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. Place it on top of the Coastal Cabana Cardstock on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Adhere the filigree heart cut out to the Granny Apple Green solid heart so the solid heart is centered inside the filigree heart.
Adhere the solid/filigree heart to the front of the card at a slight angle so the top edge is about 3/4" from the top and the left side is about 1/2" from the left side.
Place the outline, scalloped Granny Apple Green heart upside down on your work surface. Place the stamped, solid Coastal Cabana heart upside down inside it. Put SNAIL on the back of the pieces, getting as close to the edges as possible. Carefully pick them up and adhere them to the front of the card so they overlap the other heart along the bottom right side a bit. The right edge of the heart should be about 1/2" in from the right side and the bottom tip should be about 1-1/2" from the bottom.
Cut an 10" piece of Coastal Cabana/Granny Apple Green 3/8" Reversible Ribbon.
Tie a bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow at a slight angle where the two hearts meet along the bottom of the filigree heart.
Use the brush tip of the Bermuda Bay Light Stampin' Blends to color one small and one medium heart on a sheet of Heart Epoxy Droplets while they are on the sheet.
Use the brush tip of the Granny Apple Green Dark Stampin' Blends to color one large heart on a sheet of Heart Epoxy Droplets while it is on the sheet.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up the colored droplets making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere the medium heart droplet to the top right corner of the card. Adhere the large heart at a slight angle just below the ribbon on the lower left side of the card front. Adhere the small heart at a slightly different angle just below and to the right of the large heart.
