T his is the second card for class this coming weekend. There is a card in the kit that already has splotches on it, but I used some random vintage paper I had to save the girls’ supplies.
Project Recipe
I started this one with a Peacock card base and a Soft Suede layer that is 33/4 x 51/4.
The splotchy layer will be 5 x 31/2
Start by stamping the splotches in soft suede around the lower left side and stamp off images around the rest of the card. You only need a few fill strength ink on there. After that do the same with the pretty peacock ink.
Next step is to get one of the labels with the thin silver bordee. The medium ones. Flop it over and lay it on the card where tou want it and then stamp the birds onto the card. Have the birds overlap onto the tag.
Stamp words on the tag ( Grateful for you). I sponged some soft suede ink around the tag to take the brightness away.
Cut a piece of the blue velvet ribbon and stick it down so it will be under the tag with the ends sticking out. Using dimensionals, adhere the tag to the card front
Final step will be to cut the blue flowers off the front of the blue envelope. You can use the rest for another card. The inside of the envelopes is wonderful!!
