Project Recipe
Begin by inking up the marbled background stamp with Smokey Slate. The easiest way to do this is to lay the block flat on the table with the rubber facing up. Tap the pad lightly many times across the surface of the stamp until it is fully inked.
Take the Whisper White cardstock and carefully lay it on top of the stamp. Cover with scrap paper and lightly rub all over, taking care to not slide the cardstock around. Gently lift up your paper, revealing your awesome stamped background.
Use a bone folder to fold your card base.
Using SNAIL or Tombow adhesive, glue the black and the stamped marbled background layers to the Smokey Slate card base.
Finally remove the white liner and glue the two die cut happy birthday pieces to the front, positioning the top silver piece slightly to the right and down from the black piece. (The easiest way to cover this detailed die with glue is to use a mutipurpose adhesive sheet on your cardstock when your run it through the Big Shot, which is what I've done here for you!)
Add more marbelling to the envelope flap for a matching look, and place your name on the back of the card.
